This is a conversion kit to convert an electric start Honda GX390 to LPG. The conversion will also enable the user to run the engine on either petrol or LPG.
Solenoid Operated LPG Dual Fuel Kit
This type of kit is simply a frame mount kit for electric start engines which is operated by a solenoid
system. It is an additional safety system that shuts off the LPG supply when the engine ignition is
turned off, meaning you do not have to turn the LPG off at the cylinder.
However it is important to note, that if the engine stopped for any reason such as a mechanical fault, and the ignition is still turned on, then the solenoid would remain open. This means LPG could potentially leak and the battery would flatten. To prevent this, a solenoid safety control module can be added to this LPG kit, a neccesary feature for all remote start operating.
The kit will arrive with all LPG fittings secured and the LPG hose must be cut to lengths to suit your frame size.

What is a Solenoid Safety LPG Kit?
This type of LPG kit fits onto electric start engines only and is operated by a solenoid system. It is an additional safety system that shuts off the LPG supply when the engine ignition is turned off, meaning you do not have to turn the LPG off at the cylinder. A remote start module can be fitted
My LPG bottle connection is different. Can a LPG regulator be supplied to fit my european LPG bottle?
For international customers, we can only supply this LPG kit with one type of european bottle regulator connection. Unfortunately, each country uses a different bottle connection to to fit LPG bottles and therefore it is very difficult for us to supply a bottle connection for each country. If this does not suit your LPG bottle, then we can supply the LPG kit with no bottle regulator. Then you should be able source the regulator locally that matches the LPG bottle in your country and easily connect it to the kit.
Can I run my engine on Butane or a Propane / Butane mixture?
LPG can be propane, butane or a mixture. Because propane is the most common LPG type in the UK, we have designed this kit with a jet size to run on Propane gas only. This allows the kit to run perfectly with no adjustments, when operating on propane. On request, we can supply the kit with an adjustable jet allowing the user to adjust the mixture according to their specific fuel type.
